Muscle Specific Actin (MSA)

Actin is a proteoid of microfilament, which is found in most cells as a ubiquitous component of cytoskeleton. Actin is divided into three main subunit based on biochemical and immunological properties: α-Actin is present in muscle tissue. βand γ-Actin are present in non-muscle cells. A small number of γ-Actin is present in muscle cells.

Product Special Description
MSA specific effect on smooth muscle α and γ kineticin (42kD) .The literature reports that it is expressed in the heart muscle, skeletal muscle ‘s striated muscle fibers, arterial cell walls, smooth muscle layer of all gastrointestinal tracts, and uterus’s smooth muscle, prostate matrix and bladder wall.
