CD14(EPR3653),RMab

CD14 antigen is a 55kD glycosyl - phosphatidylinositol (GPI) -bound glycoprotein.CD14 antigen has been reported to be expressed in bone marrow mononuclear cell lines including monocytes, macrophages and langham's cells.Low levels of expression in neutrophils and B cells. The CD14 antigen is a receptor for bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS, endotoxin) and is a lipopolysaccharide binding protein (LBP).LBP and CD14 antigens play two physiological roles. These proteins act as opsonin and opsonin receptors to promote phagocytic cells to engulf bacteria or macrophages to coat LPS with granules, respectively.
