ROS 1

Human ROS1 gene is located on the chromosome 6q21 point and belongs to the tyrosine kinase insulin receptor gene. It is consisted with three parts includingintracellular tyrosine kinase active domain, transmembranedomain and extracellular domain. It is coded by the activity chimeric proteins with tyrosine kinase. The extracellular domain is lost when ROS 1gene is rearranged ,but intracellular tyrosine kinase active domain and transmembranedomain are preserved . Therearrangement point occurs mainly in the 32 to 36 exon code of the ROS1gene. In NSCLC, the ROS1 gene is mainly integrated with SCL34A2 and CD74, and continuously activates intracellular tyrosine kinase active domain and the signaling pathways of downstream JAK,STAT,PI3K,AKT,RAS and MAPK ect, then cause tumors.
