P27 is one kind of mitotic inhibitor related to Cell cycle mediated with a molecular weight of 27kDa. P27 is highly specific and has no cross-reaction with other associated mitotic inhibitors. P27 plays a negative adjustment role in G1 differentiation, and it is speculated that it can inhibit G1 through to adjust TGF-β.P27 is a candidate tumor suppressor gene.Clinical studies show that P27 protein expression is reduced and missing in a variety of tumors, p27 is a new tumor marker and tumor prognosis index.
