CAM5.2 is a low molecular weight cytokeratin, which can be used as a broad spectrum marker of monolayer epithelial cells and located in the cytoplasm.CAM5.2 was reported to be strongly positive for glandular epithelium and various adenocarcinomas, and the expression of glandular epithelium was stronger than that of lamellar squamous epithelium.It is therefore one of the most common markers of glandular epithelium and various adenocarcinomas.
