CD43

The CD43 antigen is expressed in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of T cells and myeloid cells.Molecules from different cell lines showed a variety of molecular weights, with bands ranging from 90 to 140kD observed on sds-page.Cells expressing CD43 antigen have been reported to include both normal T cells and neoplastic T cells.A small percentage of b-cell chronic leukemias and central cell lymphomas also express the CD43 antigen.
