Tumor-associated glycoprotein 72 (TAG-72) is expressed in most adenocarcinomas, such as colon cancer, gastric cancer, ovarian cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer, but rarely or weakly expressed in normal tissues. The antibody can be used for differential diagnosis of adenocarcinoma and mesothelioma.
