Thyroglobulin is a 670kD glycoprotein synthesized from follicles of the thyroid. This protein is expressed in normal thyroid follicular epithelium and glial, thyroid follicular adenoma, thyroid follicular carcinoma and papillary carcinoma. But cancers with poor differentiation from thyroid follicular epithelium such as undifferentiated cancer and anaplastic cancer, the expression of TG shows weak or negative.

This antibody is intended for use in Immunohistochemical applications on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues (FFPE). The clinical interpretation of any staining or its absence should be complemented by morphological studies using proper controls and should be evaluated within the context of the patient’s clinical history and other diagnostic tests by a qualified pathologist.
