Cyclin E1

The human cyclin E protein gene encodes several peptides with molecular weights ranging from 39 to 52kDa. Cyclin E1 is expressed in the G1 late period to the end of the S phase of the cell cycle. The expression of E1 in malignant tumors is higher in normal cells, and the expression of this protein is associated with the progression of different cancers, such as breast cancer, leukemia, lymphoma, and other types of tumors.
