Alpha-1-Antichymotrypsin(AACT)

Alpha 1 - resistance of pancreatic chymotrypsin (AACT) as the early acute phase protein, is a serine protein kinase inhibitors or one of the members of theserpin’s sub-unitgroup. Although,the role of AACTis uncertain, but it plays a role in the neutrophils chemotaxis phenomena and superoxide anion production as an antichymotrypsin, cathepsin G and mast cells class chymotrypsin.In addition,AACT also have low levels of synthesis inside the mast cells, endothelial cells, mammary and intestinal epithelial cells. Moreover,the AACT also exists in the brain tissues.The study of AACT found inside the amyloid fiber ,endothelial cells and the cytoplasm of some abnormal astrocytes in the brain. The complexus form between themost prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is found inside the serum in further survey with the complex AACT.
