Perforin

Perforatin is a cell-soluble protein expressed in the particles of cytotoxic T lymphocytes and NK cells. After the degranulation, Perforatin inserts itself into the cell membrane of the target cell to form a hole. Perforatin prompts granzyme to enter the target cells and then activate the apoptosis, causing the cells to die. It is mainly used in the auxiliary diagnosis of NK cell lymphoma, NK cell sample, T lymphocytic tumor, and is helpful to the study of NK cells, cytotoxic T lymphocytes and tumors.
