CD35 antigen is also called CR1 or C3b/C4bR, is a kind of combined with complement C3b and C4b transmembrane proteins, the molecular weight of 160 to 250 kd CD35 particles by neutrophils and monocytes package is C3b and C4b mediated phagocytosis CD35 antigen by both classic and bypass way to inhibit complement activation according to reports, CD35 antigen found expression in red blood cells, B cells some T cell subsets monocytes in vitro cultured macrophage neutrophils eosinophils glomerular podocytes and follicular dendritic cellsLow levels of CD35 antigen have been reported in B cells of hiv-infected patients.
