TLE1( Trd aducin-ike Enhancer of Split 1) is a transcriptional corepressor of the Groucho/ TLE family that is highly expressed in synovial sarcoma. TLE1 is a highly specific marker for synovial sarcoma, with a positivity rate of approximately 90%. It is useful for the differential diagnosis of synovial sarcoma from other soft tissue tumors, especially malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors and epithelioid sarcomas.
