nm23 Protein
nm23 gene is more studied of inhibit metastasis gene at present. The product of the nm23 encoding has the ability to inhibit tumor metastasis. nm23 has high level of expression in better differentiated tumors, and negative correlation between nm23 gene expression and lymphatic metastasis. Beside,it is positively correlated with disease-free survival and the entire survival period. Therefore, detecting the expression of nm23 gene can be used as an important indicator to determine whether the tumor has metastasis.
