CD4 is mainly used to label helper/inducible T cells, myeloid cells and tissue cells, as well as most mycosis, adult T lymphocytic leukemia/lymphoma, and most peripheral T cell lymphoma.It can also be used for the auxiliary diagnosis of true histiocytic lymphoma.In addition, most t-cell lymphomas have CD4+/CD8-.
