Myosin Heavy Chain (MHC)
Smooth muscle myosin heavy chain is mainly used to label vascular and visceral smooth muscle cells and myoepithelial cells, and is considered to be a relatively specific and reliable marker of smooth muscle. It is helpful for the diagnosis and classification of mesenchymal tumors, and is also used for the examination of breast myoepithelial cells.
