Melanoma Marker (CD63)
HMB45 antigens are also used to identify retinal pigment epithelial (RPE), but the literature reports that it reacts only to RPE before birth and during a short period of infancy. Its reaction to intradermal nevus and normal melanin and non-melanocytes in adults was not observed. Besides, They were negative in epithelial, lymphatic, glial and mesenchymal tumor cells.
