For the staining of Helicobacter pylori. Gastric Helicobacter pylori is a short rod-shaped Gram-negative bacterium with slightly curved ends. It mainly exists between the gastric mucosal epithelium and the mucus barrier of gastric glands. It is closely related to chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer and gastric tumors.
