Mucicarmine stain kit
mainly used for displaying neutral mucus substances, also acidic mucus substances, and Cryptococcus neoformans, especially for displaying the mucus of the stomach and epithelium, the identification of mucus-secreting epithelial carcinoma in clinical diagnosis.

Product Application:
Stains acidic mucin for the diagnosis of lesions such as cryptococcal infection and adenocarcinoma.
Staining Principle:
Carmine dye is positively‑charged and binds to negatively‑charged acidic mucin, staining it red, whereas neutral mucin remains unstained.
Staining Results:
Acidic mucin appears red, neutral mucin is colorless, and cell nuclei are blue.
