Elastic fiber stain kit
Elastic fiber widely exists in the lung, arteriovenous, connective tissue, it is difficult to distinguish it from collagen fiber in HE staining, but by elatic fiber stain, Victoria blue staining method enables elastic fiber and hepatitis b surface antigen stain, which can be used to observe tissue elastic fiber hyperplasia or fracture disintegration to assist the clinical diagnosis.

Product Application:
Demonstrate the morphology of elastic fibers for the diagnosis of vascular lesions, pulmonary lesions, skin lesions, and tumor invasion extent.
Staining Principle:
Certain components within elastic fibers react with the phenolic groups of resorcinol in Victoria‑blue staining solution, staining elastic fibers blue‑black. After counter‑staining with Nuclear Fast Red, cell nuclei appear red.
Staining Results:
Elastic fibers appear blue; background appears red.
