Human Growth hormone (HGH) is a hormone synthesized and secreted by somatotroph cells in the anterior pituitary gland. It promotes protein synthesis and skeletal development. This antibody reacts with human GH and shows weak cross-reactivity with hormones such as PRL, TSH, LH, and FSH. It is primarily used in the functional classification of pituitary adenomas.
