This antibody reacts with the y chain of immunoglobulin G (lgG). it is of certain auxiliary significance in thedifferential diagnosis of lymphomas, plasmacytomas, and Hodgkin lymphomas of B-cell origin. it can alsobe used for the functional classification of glomerulonephritis.
