Factor VIII(36B11),MMab
Human von Willebrand factor (also known as Factor VIII-related antigen) is a multimeric glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 270 kD. It mediates the adhesion of platelets to damaged blood vessel walls and is a carrier and stabilizer for coagulation factor VIII. It is reported to be expressed in platelets, megakaryocytes, and various tumors, including hemangiomas, angiosarcomas, and Kaposi's sarcomas.
