Epithelial Specific Antigen/Ep-CAM (C5C9), MMab
The epithelial antigen is widely distributed in epithelial cells and has highly conserved expression characteristics in tumors of epithelial origin. The positive reaction of adenocarcinoma cells is diffuse cytoplasmic and membrane staining, while mesothelioma is focal cytoplasmic staining or negative expression in a small number of cell populations.
