Desmoglein-3(EP306),RMab
Desmoglein-3 is a protein encoded by the DSG3 gene on chromosome 18. Desmoglein-3 is a calcium-binding transmembrane glycoprotein. Four desmoglein subfamily members have been identified, all of which are members of the cadherin cell adhesion molecule superfamily. This protein has been identified as an autoantigen in the autoimmune skin blistering disease pemphigus vulgaris. DSG-3 is a specific marker for tumor-like squamous cell carcinoma and helps to distinguish squamous cell carcinoma from lung adenocarcinoma.
