Desmin (C3B7), MMab

Desmin is an intermediate filament protein with a molecular weight of 53 kDa, expressed in normal smooth muscle, skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle, and myoepithelial cells. This antibody can label leiomyomas and rhabdomyosarcomas, and can be used to determine the myogenic components and their metaplasia in tumors, which is helpful for the research of uterine, skin, gastrointestinal, and other rhabdomyosarcomas and myoepithelial carcinomas.
