Androgen Receptor(C1B4),MMab
The Androgen Receptor (AR) is a member of the steroid hormone receptor family that functions as aligand-dependent transcription factor. AR expression is central to the development and progression of prostate cancer and is a key marker for identifying prostatic origin in metastatic settings. Additionally, ARIHC is increasingly utilized in the characterization of certain breast cancers (e.g., apocrine differentiation)and salivary gland tumors. The presence of nuclear AR staining is a critical factor in determining thehormonal sensitivity of these malignancies.
