CD45RO is one of the isoforms of CD45, with a molecular weight of 180 kDa. It has been reported that CD45RO is expressed in approximately 48% of peripheral blood T Iymphocytes, 37% of CD4-positive lymphocytes, 80% of thymocytes, and the majority of malignant T cells. This antigen is expressed on the surface of monocytes and granulocytes, whereas in tissue macrophages it is localized in the cytoplasm.
