Immunoglobulin G4

IgG4 is a low proportion of IgG subtypes that account for only 3% to 6% of the total IgG of normal human serum. IgG4-related sclerosing disorders are a syndrome that has only recently been known. Its characteristics are characterized by multiple organ-like lesions, such as the pancreas, bile ducts, gallbladder, tear glands, salivary glands, post-peritoneal, kidney, lung, breast, thyroid and prostate, etc. A large number of lymphocytes and plasma cells in the lesions are soaked and metalysis hardened, and IgG4 titre of serum increased as well as IgG4 and plasma cells of tissue were increased. But patients can benefit from steroid therapy, then clinical prognosis is good. The results of immunohistochemistry studies in IgG4-related sclerosis cases showed that IgG4 had a significant increase in the lesions of the disease and a significant increase in the ratio of IgG4\/IgG in tissues.
