Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor
EGFR is a member of the ErbB family, which consists of four closely related receptor tyrosine kinase subunits, including EGFR, her-2 neu, her-3, and her-4. EGFR is mainly utilized in the study of various tumors, and its overexpression is related to the occurrence and development of many tumors. The overexpression of malignant epithelial tumors, such as EGFR, indicates poor prognosis, as well as in breast cancer, the overexpression of EGFR predicts short survival and poor hormonal efficacy.
