It is B cell line specific activated protein. In the early stages of B-cell development, Pax-5 can affect the expression of B-cell-specific genes such as CD19 and CD20.It is mainly distributed in the Pre- B cells and mature B cells. The protein plays an important role in the development of B cells and neurons.
