Octapolymer transcription factor 2 (OCT-2) has a leucine zipper that combines octapolymer-based sequence (5-ATTCAT-3) to activate the gene expression of immunoglobulin. OCT-2 plays an important role in the expression of specific genes in B cells, such as CD20 and CRISP-3.OCT-2 is expressed in mature B cells, especially B cells in the germinalcenter.
