CD38 is a type Ⅱ glycoprotein with single penetrating membrane .The molecular weight is 46 kDa. CD38 is expressed in thymocytes, preT cells and B cells, activated T cells and B cells, plasma cells, monocytes, and most NK cells. It can be used to research the classification of acute leukemia and the role of activated T cells in autoimmunity and immunodeficiency.
