CK19 (Cytokeratin 19) is found in normal epithelia and tumors of various epithelia origin, especially in monolayer epithelium and mesothelium. It is often utilized in the diagnosis of adenocarcinoma. Hepatocytes do not express CK19, so it can be utilized to differentiate between liver cancer and metastatic adenocarcinoma.
