The common c-Myc translocation site is t(8;14), most burkitt lymphomas are caused by this status.
The research have shown that c-Myc translocation is also present in approximately 3% to 16% of diffuse large b-cell lymphomas. The high expression of c-myc protein does not necessarily mean that there is a translocation of c-Myc gene. It just has some suggestive value for the translocation of this gene.
