1. Characteristic chromosomal translocation t(X; 18) (p11.2; q11.2) occurs in more than 90% of patients with synovial sarcoma. This translocation causes the fusion of the SS18 gene on chromosome 18 with the SSX1 or SSXE gene on chromosome X.
2.Auxiliary diagnosis of synovial sarcoma.
