CgA is a soluble acid protein with the highest content in human adrenal medulla, which is widely found in neurons, neuroendocrine cells and tumor cells, and is mainly used for the diagnosis of neuroendocrine tumors such as pituitary tumor, islet cell tumor, pheochromocytoma, medulloid tumor of thyroid, and carcinoid tumor.
